As an independent Writer, Director and Producer, I am always looking for opportunities to work on independent films, for freelance writing assignments and production contracts for anything from studio and network projects to commercials, PSAs, corporate and educational videos.

Writer for Hire, Ghost or Co-Writer for feature film screenplays, television pilots and bibles (scripted as well as reality), fiction and non-fiction books and their proposals and transmedia projects (video games, websites, blogs, social media or platform distribution plans, etc.)

Sample Client Projects

Budgets & Shooting Schedules

I can break your script down into proposed shooting schedules and budget scenarios – and even stay on board (if requested), through production as a crew member.

Business Plans

Capitalize on my extensive mortgage banking and real estate finance underwriting background coupled with my entertainment industry expertise to write or review business plans for any kind of entrepreneurial ventures or non-profit charities. Everything from bio polishing to comparable or competitive products and services to social media marketing strategies to product placement plans to number crunching waterfalls and cash flows through to even supporting you (if you request it), to help you make your investor presentations.

Pitch Critique
You’ve been working on your project inside and out – but can you sell it?  This fifteen-minute pitch critique session will help you improve your pitch, boost your confidence and help you secure more script requests and follow-up meetings.

Logline* Review
Submit 2 – 5 one-sentence summaries of your various projects and have an unbiased but professional and honest third party rank them in terms of intrigue and potential marketability and offer constructive polish suggestions.

*A logline is the hook – ideally in 25 words or less – that piques initial interest. Ideal loglines will reveal the project’s high concept, sources of conflict (drama), introduce the main Protagonists/Antagonists/Love Interests (or for Reality: Hosts/Subject Matter Experts) – and intrigue the listener/reader as to how the project will deliver in a unique and interesting way on the genre.

OPTIONAL: Taglines can be included if desired

NOTE: If you are attending a pitch fest or similar event (NATPE’s PitchCon, The Great American/Canadian Pitch Fest, etc.), you may submit the list of potential “Catchers” in advance and your best targets (where you might find the most success pitching) will be identified, discussed and prioritized for your particular goals.

Advanced Pitch Prep
Advanced written feedback and Pitch Prep Support. Any or all materials submitted (script, bible, format, leave behind, sizzle reel, etc.) will be reviewed and written or verbal feedback provided.
