From Screenplays to Spreadsheets

Having founded and run a mortgage company, functioning as its CFO (and top producing loan officer) for nearly a decade prior to working in Hollywood (after working abroad), Heather is one of a precious few collaborators who can move seamlessly between screenplays and spreadsheets – and back again – equally proficient in both.

We have a profound respect for – and always honor – our fiduciary responsibility to treat your capital with the same care and due diligence as if it were our own.

Engaged in All Key Decisions

We treat our financiers the way we want to be treated: with fair and ethical respect, including them on all pertinent matters with prompt, accurate, transparent and thorough disclosure. We will agree in advance as to their desired level of involvement and keep them apprised of all pertinent details throughout the entire process from literary development and soft-prep to pre-production, principal photography and post-production through distribution and marketing. In addition to establishing expenditure and workflow approval protocols, our investors may opt to be engaged in major decisions ranging from pre-approving and authorizing budgeted line-items to streamline the day-to-day expenditure minutia or serving on location as one of two or three required signers on the production checking account to vetting short lists for cast and Department Heads to establishing parameters for distribution deals and approving (or having an equal vote) on key art.

Maximize Return

Every step taken maintains focus on the double bottom line end game: a profitable production we can all be proud of.

Synopsis: When he was just 13, Sam’s mother was killed in front of him. The spiral of grief and addiction then stole his father, followed by the love of his life and finally his 80s rock and roll dreams, leaving him disconnected from love and music for the rest of his life. But when Sam is killed in his prime, his soul finds a way back to his 23 year-old body – and a miraculous second chance to relive it all. Once Again is a gritty, unapologetic look at one man’s journey from a broken childhood, through a hedonistic youth to an alienated adulthood – and back again. It tracks how he deals with tragedy, loss, addiction and love until one fateful day, his accidental, in-his-prime death gifts him with a surreal second chance – a “do over” – to re-emerge into one key milestone moment – and what he might’ve been able to do differently.
