Absolute Killers
Absolute Killers is a low budget (under a million dollars) faith-based thriller that I directed, produced and co-adapted the screenplay off a client’s self-published book.
Our indie feature starred Edward Furlong (Terminator 2, The Green Hornet, CSI: NY), Ed Asner (Up, Lou Grant) and Meat Loaf Aday (Fight Club, Rocky Horror Picture Show). It was a spotlighted premiere on 10/1/11 at the Modern Film Fest and attracted two different distributors who marketed it internationally at both Le Marché du Film (the Cannes Film Market) and the American Film Market. DVDs were sold retail and are stilla available at Walmart, Best Buy and (of course) Amazon (5-star average rating).

Synopsis
Johnny Graham (Edward Furlong), raised by the Torino crime family after the death of his parents, is repeatedly torn between loyalty to his adoptive family and his conscience. When Anthony Torino (Rick Ravanello), the volatile heir-apparent, turns his deadly sights on the DA (Grace Johnston) prosecuting him for the cold-blooded murder of his own cousin, Johnny is finally moved to act. Despite his role as family accountant, Johnny is quite the marksman. He convinces a reluctant Anthony into letting him eliminate the DA as his first hit. Johnny’s plan to simply warn her instead is thwarted by the arrival of a pair of Torino family goons sent to supervise his rookie foray. The ensuing shootout leaves the DA wounded, one goon dead (Billy Burns) and Johnny arrested. Johnny rolls on Anthony and enters the Witness Security Program. Shortly after Anthony is arrested, he escapes and contacts his mole to discover the locations of Johnny and the others set to testify against him. When Vince (Brian Krause), the Torino family hit-man and Johnny’s lifelong friend, shows at the sheep farm where Johnny has been hidden away, Johnny finds himself once again scrambling to save the lives of those who have crossed Anthony – including his own. Along the way, he realizes that he’s not alone in this mission.
