Hardcastle

Courage is a just a whisper; if you listen it will tell you what to do.

 Logline:

An idealistic farm boy, desperate to help save his family’s property from foreclosure, hires on as a gun thug for a coal mine and soon must choose between a paycheck or humanity.

Summary:

Armed with a gun, a badge, a partner with twisted principles, and the love of a bitter murder widow, Billy Music struggles to overlook the pain and suffering brought on by the well-fed owner of the mine who is determined to keep business afloat no matter what the human cost. The boy’s reluctant choice between the almighty paycheck or standing up for what he believes is right starts a domino effect of violence followed by heartbreaking loss.
